May is the month of vibrant colours, re-energy… perfect time when/if we want to make the most of all life has to offer.

Month when Lily of the valley is blossoming. Or djurdjevak if we speak Serbian (flower was floral emblem  of Yugoslavia).

My family celebrate Djurdjevdan and my mums b-day in May.

I am having monthaversary – five years of my living in Sweden, this year, this month. I will become a Swedish citizen according to the swedish law.

If I would/could apply my own laws I already am. After reading ‘Swedish mentality’ written by godfather of the Swedish soul Åke Daun (humour or the lack of it is one of many likely chapter headings alongside lagom, nature, equality, the weather, the rule of shoes, conflict, neutrality, being punctual, jantelagen, alcohol, sex, tax, welfare and suicide…), thinking a lot on theme Vikings -what have happened to them & how did they polish their brain/behavior into silent one- as well as paying taxes to the state and royal family and sucre on top uninvoidably (my word) or inevitably credit…

But most important simple law of mine is that I’m breathing swedish air. COLD. Yes, most definitely I am Swede Lady.

Fiesting, meeting my nearest and dearest, oh yes, charging of the batteries will be completely this month for sure.

Why is she having all these thoughts, you maybe ask yourself – if read, of course 🤩

Just because I got my new bicycle.

I was unaware that all I needed for total rounding of my swede life is a red bicycle… So no doubt anymore my future is very swedish.
